East Windsor, CT – April 27, 2026
We are pleased to announce that the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College will co-host the upcoming Annual Planning Meeting of the Retirement Advisor Council in June.
The location (Boston College Law School in Newton, MA) was chosen in recognition of the strong alignment between the mission of the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College and that of the Retirement Advisor Council. Both organizations share an unwavering commitment to strengthening retirement outcomes for Americans. Co-host First Eagle Investments facilitated the rapprochement between the two organizations.
“We very much look forward to meeting with the Retirement Advisor Council members. Our Center has long prized our relationships with financial services professionals, who bring a practical and real-world perspective that enriches our research. In turn, we aim to provide insights that help inform decisions made by advisors, asset managers, plan sponsors, and plan participants,” said Andrew D. Eschtruth, Director | Center for Retirement Research at Boston College.
“First Eagle is pleased to help bring together the world-class research of the Boston College Center for Retirement Research with the practical insights of leading retirement plan professionals from the Retirement Advisor Council. We’ve partnered with Boston College CRR for nearly a decade and have been active participants in RAC for the past five years. It’s especially meaningful that this collaboration is taking place near Boston—home to many of the industry’s leading retirement organizations.” Said Matt Luksa, CRPS™, ABFP™ Director & Senior Retirement | First Eagle Investments
"Over 90 percent of attendees at our most recent meeting said they would be hard pressed to find the same experience anywhere else in the industry. The dialogue is productive, passionate, and rare — and our collaboration with the Center for Retirement Research will only deepen the organization's prestige." added Lisa Buffington, AIF®, CPFA® | President, Retirement Advisor Council; Senior Vice President & National Brand and Market Development Leader, Retirement & Wealth Services | Marsh McLennan Agency.
