General Session - Legislative and Regulatory Update

Speaker: Keith Mancini, AVP Government Affairs | Empower

Description: In this session we’ll discuss 403(b) Collective Investment Trusts, Privacy, The Treasury, ESG, the DOL, SEC, MEPS, SECURE 2.0 and more. What is happening now, from a regulatory and legislative standpoint and what is the potential impact on individual states.

Keith Mancini is Assistant Vice President of Government Affairs for Empower. In his role, he monitors state and federal legislation and regulation that is relevant to internal and external Empower stakeholders and represents the organization in advocacy groups.
Keith joined the organization in 2004. He has experience with all retirement plan types and previously worked in the legal department, where he provided legal and compliance support for the development of group annuity, lifetime income and stable value investment products.
Keith holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Colorado. Keith is also a board member of the Colorado Life & Health Insurance Protection Association.
